“Negative comments stick in student’s heads like VELCRO, but
Positive comments slide out like TEFLON!”

eValuate adjustments we can make ourselves:
Teachers at the Middle School further their own professional standing by thinking, reflecting, and listening to their own peers share their successes. Thanks Intermediate!
Now or Later?
During this month of Thanksgiving, we want to come to appreciate our friends, families, blessings, and opportunities while here in Winfield.
Gracing the cover of the Lincoln County Journal, Winfield Middle School is working our way #onthemap. The Veterans Day Celebration made lasting impressions throughout Lincoln County. While waiting for breakfast, the Veterans heard a summary of a book by Tim O’Brien titled, The Things They Carried. Students, staff, and esteemed guests were treated to a continental breakfast, fellowship and honorable assembly meant to say “Thank You” in the best way we know how!
Respect!

Finally…
BIG wins by both the 7th and 8th grade boys demonstrate a depth and passion for excellence.
Conclusion
Never to be outdone, we are trying to keep up with the Primary. Instead of Coffee Talk, we have a Pepsi with the Principal planned for December 7th at 5:30 pm. We will discuss current events, past successes and areas needing extra attention. Please feel free to join us.
Expectedly,
Tom McCracken
